Motor warranty insurance are not a maintenance or a service plan. However, the need of it is still valid because it is designed to help pay towards the cost and contribute towards the repairing of your vehicle following an unforeseen mechanical or electrical breakdown.

Motor Warranty

Vehicles covered under this plan must be passenger vehicles, 4×4’s or light commercial vehicles with a gross vehicle mass less than 4 000kg.

Please request policy wording for vehicle exclusions and uses.

Vehicles are categorised according to year model and/or the distance travelled.

Vehicles meeting the criteria of: less than 25 years old and with less than 400 000 kms will be covered

Plans available for 6 months, 12 months or 24 months

Fleet Warranty

A warranty provides, cover for your vehicle’s components from mechanical breakdown or electrical failure. Servicing of the vehicle is not covered.

DRIVER’S RESPONSIBLITIES:
Vehicle must be serviced at your own cost as per the manufacturer’s recommendation at any RMI approved workshop or Dealership.

All documentation regarding the service of the vehicle is to be retained.  You will be required to submit this information to the administrator in the event of a claim under this policy. If you fail to do so at the time, the repair may not be accepted.

Motorcycle Warranty

Choose between a Personal and a Prestige Plan. 

Motorcycles covered under this plan must be road motorcycles, off-road motorcycles and quadbikes.

Please request policy wording for motorcycle exclusions and uses.

Motorcycles are categorised according to year model and/or the distance travelled.

Motorcycles meeting the criteria of: less than 15 years old and with less than 100 000 kms will be covered.

Plans available for 6 months, 12 months or 24 months.

Service Plan

A Service Plan is a contractual agreement which covers a specified number of services over a selected time period or number of kilometers.

Are All Services The Same? 

No, services vary, and different items are replaced at defined points in your vehicle’s life cycle. Your typical vehicle will have major and minor services, which differ in the amount of work required and cost. Certain vehicles also have cambelts which need to be replaced and can be extremely costly. If your vehicle has a cambelt, consider including the cambelt cover in your plan.

When Must I Service My Vehicle? 

Your vehicle must be serviced at the manufacturer’s specified intervals, generally every year or after a specified number of kilometers, for example 1 year or every 15 000 km whichever occurs first.

What is Covered? 

Unforeseen road hazards – tyre & rim damage
Rims and mags scratches
Emergency repairs
Wheel balancing

Body and Interior

What Does Body Maintenance Cover? 

We cover damage to your vehicle caused from day-to-day motoring, such as:

• Scratches
• Dents
• Chips

This cover excludes any damage caused by vehicle accidents.

What Does Interior Maintenance Cover? 

We cover damage to your vehicle’s interior such as:

• Scratches
• Seat tears
• Unforeseen interior damage to specified components
